KAYSERI GENCLIK MECLISI DERNEGI

Turkey

Kayseri Gençlik Meclisi Derneği, originally established in 2014 under the name Genç Sahne, began as a youth-driven initiative focused on culture and the arts, especially theater. Founded by individuals aged 18 to 20, the organization gained local and independent recognition through cultural nights and artistic events. In 2015, it expanded into film by launching a funded film club and participating in both regional and national projects. By 2017, the association broadened its scope to include sports, technology, and education, evolving into a multifaceted youth organization.

Today, the organization offers educational programs, workshops, and courses aimed at young people and disadvantaged groups. It also supports orphaned children through periodic training and aid initiatives. The core mission is to enhance Turkey’s international integration by addressing societal issues through modern and collaborative approaches, both nationally and globally. Kayseri Gençlik Meclisi Derneği has been particularly active in technology-related education, offering training in Arduino and robotic coding, and supporting youth teams competing in events such as Turkey’s Teknofest. They have also collaborated with Prof. Dr. Derviş Karaboğa, a globally recognized scientist known for the Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm, whose expertise continues to benefit their projects.

The organization primarily serves individuals aged 18 to 35 who face economic, political, or educational disadvantages, including earthquake survivors and families of martyrs or veterans. With five years of focused experience in this field, the association has become a significant contributor to youth empowerment and inclusive education in the region.

Creative Youth Academy Hungary

Hungary

Creative Youth Academy Hungary (CYA) is a youth-led volunteer organization driven by the belief that education and mentoring can foster a world rooted in sustainable development, mutual cultural respect, and non-violence. CYA organizes diverse events to strengthen community engagement across various sectors, including education, business, culture, IT, technology, agriculture, environmental protection, and sports. Their mission is to empower disadvantaged, international, and refugee individuals by creating platforms for cultural exchange and personal interaction, with a strong focus on inclusion and gender equality. These efforts aim to dismantle stereotypes and reinforce rural community ties.

In line with the objectives of this application, CYA focuses on creating development opportunities for socially and economically disadvantaged youth, specifically those aged 18 to 30. Their activities support skill-building, entrepreneurship, and education through both local and international partnerships. The organization emphasizes innovation and research in future-oriented fields such as environmental technology, engineering, artificial intelligence, democracy, and active citizenship. Collaborations with universities, high schools, and NGOs like Students for Liberty (SFL) enhance their impact.

One of their flagship programs involves organizing youth work camps to raise awareness about social and environmental issues. These camps encourage young people to remain engaged as active and responsible members of society beyond the program itself. Though relatively new, with one year of experience in this specific field, CYA is actively building connections through universities and social networks to help integrate young people more effectively into society and the labor market.
